Rustic Wood Design is a family business. We take pride in providing top quality work and excellent customer service. Jim Lambert is the lead woodworker. He has been working with wood as a hobbyist since 1986. He ran a business called Woodpens.com for several years while continuing to work full time at a nearby nuclear plant. Now that he is retired from his fulltime career, he wanted to get back to the work he is most compassionate about. Working with wood and "letting natural beauty shine" is not just about achieving an income stream. It is about finding unique pieces of wood and matching it with an item that really brings out the beauty. He enjoys making products ranging from wooden writing pens all the way to indoor & outdoor furniture pieces. Rustic Wood Design includes exotic wooden pens, but expands Jim's former business by also providing much larger items built in his dedicated 30ft x 40ft woodworking shop. He is now providing a standard group of items in seven categories as well as custom projects designed and built as requested.
